It has been said that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. That is because the hypnotist is requesting that you put yourself into a state of hypnosis by making suggestions to that effect, so that you reach a nice level of relaxation.
Once you are deeply relaxed your hypnotist will provide you with a post hypnotic suggestion sometime known as a “trigger” which could be a word, sentence or action, such as take a deep breath and think the word relax, and that trigger, if you allow it, can take you back into that beautiful place of relaxation.
It is in this state of self-hypnosis you may continue the work that you have already started.
Sometimes this can be a tool to help you in situation which you would have normally felt anxious in the past.
Carol has also been trained and teaches a specific form of Self Hypnosis called 7th Path Self Hypnosis ® which she believes is an antidote to modern living and can release the fear and anxiety from Social Media. One only needs to learn this and then practice a few minutes a day to reset yourself. This particular form of self-hypnosis deals with the inner negative dialogue we give ourselves so that we can live each day to the fullest and to create the life we want.
Carol teaches this course regularly and holds a regular practice for those who have taken the course.
